Under-Eye Filler in Brampton

A conservative amount of filler in the tear trough can soften hollows and the tired look that comes with them.

What it is.

The tear trough is the groove that runs from the inner corner of the eye toward the cheek. As the cheek loses volume, that groove deepens and casts a shadow that reads as a dark circle. Tear trough filler places a small amount of hyaluronic acid gel beneath the hollow to lift it, which softens the shadow.

This is a delicate area with thin skin, and it calls for restraint. Crystal uses products designed for the under-eye and a cannula technique to reduce bruising. She often treats the cheek first, because supporting the cheek can improve the under-eye on its own.

Under-eye filler helps hollows. It does not change pigment in the skin. Crystal will tell you at the consultation which one you have.

What to expect.

  1. 01

    Consultation

Crystal assesses whether your dark circles come from a hollow, from pigment, or from both, and whether the cheek needs support first.

  2. 02

    Treatment

A small amount of filler is placed with a cannula. Numbing is used. The appointment takes about 30 to 45 minutes.

  3. 03

    Recovery

Mild swelling for a few days is common. Bruising is possible. Sleep with your head slightly raised the first night.

  4. 04

    Results

Visible right away and settled within two weeks. Filler in this area tends to last 12 months or longer because the under-eye moves less than the lips.

Pricing.

Most patients need one syringe shared between both eyes. Your exact plan is confirmed at consultation.

Common questions.

Will filler fix my dark circles?

It helps when the darkness is a shadow from a hollow. If the darkness is pigment in the skin itself, filler will not change the colour, and Crystal will say so.

Is the under-eye area safe to treat?

It requires training and a conservative approach. Crystal is a Registered Practical Nurse and uses a cannula and under-eye-appropriate products to keep treatment as safe and gentle as possible.

Can it look puffy?

Overfilling can cause puffiness, which is why Crystal treats conservatively and would rather have you return for a small top-up than place too much.

How long does it last?

Often 12 months or more. The area moves little, so filler breaks down slowly.
