Under-Eye Filler
Tear trough filler to soften hollows and the shadows that make you look tired.
Learn moreRestoring the cheek is often the quiet fix behind a rested face. It lifts the mid-face and improves the under-eye and smile lines along with it.
The cheeks are the structural centre of the face. As they lose volume with age, everything around them shows it: hollows appear under the eyes, smile lines deepen, and the lower face starts to drift. Cheek filler places hyaluronic acid gel over the cheekbone and in the mid-cheek to restore that support.
Done well, cheek filler does not make cheeks look big. It makes the face look rested. Crystal places it high and conservatively, and often treats the cheek before the under-eye or smile lines, because improving the cheek improves both.
Every treatment is performed by Crystal Simm, RPN.
Crystal assesses where the cheek has lost volume and how it is affecting the areas around it, then agrees a placement plan with you.
Filler is placed over the cheekbone with a needle or cannula. Numbing is used. About 30 to 45 minutes.
Mild swelling for a few days. Bruising is possible. Avoid pressure on the cheeks, including sleeping face down, for the first nights.
Visible right away, settled within two weeks. Cheek filler typically lasts 12 to 18 months.
Most patients need one to two syringes across both cheeks. Your exact plan is confirmed at consultation.
Not with conservative placement, which is Crystal's approach. The goal is structure and lift, not size.
Often, yes. Supporting the cheek lifts the tissue beneath the eye, and some patients need less or no tear trough filler afterwards.
Usually 12 to 18 months. The cheeks move less than the lips, so filler holds longer.
Minimal. Mild swelling for a few days, and most people return to work the same or next day.
